This Tuesday, 26th September, CAIXA will process payments for the Bolsa Família beneficiaries with the Social Identification Number – NIS ending in 7.
The Bolsa Família Program is meant for families with a monthly per capita income less than 218 reais, and provides a minimum monthly amount of 600 reais per family. Furthermore, an additional 150 reais is given per child up to 6 years old.
In addition, Bolsa Família also pays an extra 50 reais per pregnant family member. Children and teenagers aged seven to less than eighteen years also receive this extra amount.
The payments are made during the last 10 business days of each month, the payment date linked to the NIS end of the beneficiary. To find out when it’s your turn to receive, access the Bolsa Família or CAIXA Tem application on your mobile phone.
Payment is made into a Simple Savings account or a CAIXA Tem account. Please note that with a CAIXA Tem account, the beneficiary can perform transfers, pay bills, and even make PIX directly through the mobile phone application.
The benefit can also be processed using the debit card at businesses or at Lottery Units, CAIXA Aqui Correspondents, self-service terminals and at CAIXA branches.
